Thank goodness this book made me forget book 7. Delicate Ties was great! Characters were well developed and they just jelled as a trinity. Each was very believable in their own right and the group dynamics was compelling to read. I liked how they wanted to keep going even after completing their task. Great book. Here's the "but": BUT, I would like to see this threat to the TM's resolved in the next book and the series return to more of what books one and two were like. Cloak and dagger on the same subject after a while just gets old. Thank you, authors, for Book 8. I almost chucked this book because I was so disgusted by Book 7. Glad I didn't. Note to anyone contemplating reading this series: Skip Book 7! It's just dumb and really doesn't have a bearing on Book 8.Product details

Delicate Ties brings together another triad of so different but somehow so suited individuals. I love these books for their mystery and suspense as well as the sexy times. Will they make more headway is finding and stopping the purists? I love that Charlotte is the brainiac in this story. But this one also has more of Lila's toe curling BDSM, along with Mari's undeniable chemistry with triads. This book makes you feel so many emotions, joy, happiness, trepidation, fear, even anger and pity, then a deep feeling of satisfaction. And underneath it all is Love, no color, no gender, just Love.
Each installment of this series gets better.
This one finds Christian, Charlotte and Vincent in more danger than expected of the Grand Master's binding tasks.
The secret faction is slowly being revealed and it's clear they are willing to kill to keep their secrets buried, but what or who exactly are they hiding? Someone risen from the dead?
This plot line is so well thought out and intricate, it's pure entertainment. In fact, this trinity had me laughing out loud in several places. Absolute brilliance on the part of Carr and Dubois for their ability to relieve the tension of the danger and intrigue. Oh, and let's not minimize the hot, steamy chemistry of this menage...I think I actually had heart palpitations *swoon*
Now if I can just figure out this cipher I'll be ready for the next book...well played Lila and Mari !
Again another entry into the world of TM. I do believe it is the best story so far. A billionaire financier (A black man...so against type I have to give kudos to the authors.), an Architect and an actor are the new triad formed by the Grand Master. Their tasks, as they are given more than one in this narrative, takes them in a direction that reveals the lengths the Purists will go to maintain their idea of who should belong in the secret society. It also sheds a light on the depravity those purist enjoy perhaps because they believe they are untouchable.
I couldn't put it down and neither should you. Just note, this is book eight and although each is a stand alone story you can really sink your teeth into it if you start at book one to learn all the players you will meet. You won't be disappointed if you go to the beginning.
Sit down by the fire and enjoy Trinity Masters' Delicate Ties.
Another excellent installment in the Trinity Masters Series. Every book draws you in deeper and deeper into the mysteries of the Trinity Masters. All of the trinities have been wonderful and this one is no exception. I loved the dynamic between Vincent and Christian and Charlotte. Their banter is engaging and funny. Charlotte is very independent but yet is very feminine around her men. The mystery of the purists gets more intriguing every book and I cannot wait til the next installment and the next triad.
The series Trinity Masters is about a secret society that has been working in the background of America since the founding of the country. They bring together triads to marry. It is often unknown why the three people were picked for each other. Some are public with their triad and many have a married "couple" with a close "Aunt", "Uncle" or friend. The series is both romance and suspense/mystery. They can be read individually, but the series has some running storyline as well. Mari Carr and Lila Dubois have consistently provided well written and thought provoking stories with a fun National Treasure mystery and danger theme. This book is the eighth in the ongoing series.
This book brings together Broadway star, Christian, with Vincent, a very successful Wall Street financier and Charlotte, a brilliant architect who has already made partner in a famous Boston firm at 32. The three are given two mysteries to resolve for Trinity Masters. They need to out a dangerous sub group of their own organization bent on white supremacy (Purists). They also need to map out hidden tunnels below Boston that the Purists are willing to kill to keep hidden. Who can they trust? Will long time friends turn out to be enemies? Can they protect each other long enough to solve their task all while learning about each other and forming life long bonds? Will they get past their honeymoon to find the life together they desire? Enjoy this thriller romance and find out.
After reading the last book I couldn't wait to get my hands on this story, and I was not disappointed. Mari and Lila have done it again.
With twists and turns aplenty the story alone would keep me reading as we are learning more and more about the truth behind the Trinity Masters in each book. But throw in the romance side of things with the beautiful dynamic that we have come to expect from this series and the story goes to a complete different level.
I really don't know how these girls keep these trinity's fresh and so individual that they each have their own flavour and this one was like a dark chocolate coated honey roasted macadamia nut, sweet and decadent that's an indulgence all on its own but leaves you craving more
